Spiraea x vanhouttei - Vanhoutte Spirea

Leaves - Alternate, simple, toothed sometimes 3-lobed, rhombic ovate to rhombic obovate, dark green above, pale bluish green beneath.

Twigs - Glabrous, brown and almost hairless.

Growth Habit - Medium size shrub with many graceful arching branches.

Flowers - White, borne on 1-2 inches in diameter umbels, very showy.

Fruit - dry capsule.
