Juniperus chinensis - Chinese Juniper

Growth Habit - Tree or shrub, either pyramidal or with conical head.

Branches - Usually ascending and rather slender.

Leaves - Of two kinds, mature needles, scale-like and narrowly thombic and closely appressed,
             obtuse and gladular. Pointed or awl shaped ones have spiny points with two white
             bands above.

Fruit - Globose or irregularly oblong and whitish blue at first, then dark dark brown when
          ripe.
