ACERACEAE

Acer tataricum - Tatarian Maple

Leaves - Simple, 2-4"long, usually unlobed, irregularly double serrate.  Often pubescent
             when young-on veins beneath.

Buds - Imbricate , small brown-black, often hairy.

Stem - Slender, glabrous, brown, lenticelled.

Fruit - Two winged samara, with wings almost parallel to each other, color is usually red.
