Silver Spur Ranches is one of the nation’s largest commercial cow-calf
operations with operations in Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nebraska.
There is a focus on producing cattle that thrive in a variety of environments and
are profitable in a feed-lot setting. The original Silver Spur operation dates back
to the 1950’s and the ranch is home to and employs several multi-generation
families. A core
focus throughout
all of the operation
is maintaining the
ranches for future
generations.

The historic Bell
and TO Ranches are
located in the North
Eastern corner of
New Mexico and
the Bell is home
to the Silver Spur
Ranches Remuda
and broodmare band.
Silver Spur Feeders in Nebraska is a 15,000 head feedlot specializing in custom
feeding All-Natural cattle. Encampment Wyoming and Walden Colorado are
home to their high altitude and replacement heifer operations. The Kiowa,
Colo., division sits centrally located between all of the other ranches and is
home to their registered herd of Charolais, Red Angus, Angus, and Range Fire
Composite which is a Charolais/Red Angus cross.

In our horse operation, we believe in combining the sturdy steadfast
bloodlines of yesterday with the progressive cow horses of today. Our horses
are not only used on the ranches for the day-to-day necessities of ranching, but
are having great success in the show pen as well. You can catch our cowboys
and our horses at ranch rodeos and ranch horse shows. Currently our stallion
Metallic Masterpiece can be seen in the NRCHA events. This year he placed at
the Snaffle Bit Futurity in Reno in the limited open, intermediate open and the
open under the guidance of Kyle Trahern and Trahern Performance Horses.
